Campos de Cima is a familiar property, situated in Rio Grande do Sul’s¬ Eastern Campaign, a region where the dominant culture is the farming one. With an excellent potencial to viniculture, in 2002, its owners, José Silva Ayub and Hortência Ravache Brandão Ayub, believed in that new enterprise and initiated the project of implantation of 15 hectares of vineyards in that farm, where the green of hills and the abundance of sun frames its landscape.
That region, with its particular microclimate, presents rigorous winters, extremely hot summers, with long days and many hours of sun, nights with pleasant temperatures and low rainfall during the period of maturation of the grapes.
Young wines, with the region’s characteristics, pointing out more and more the features of each grape and interfering the minimum as possible with all the vinification process, that’s the proposal of this enterprise. The couple and the whole family, producers compromised to the elaboration of fine wines, have as premise, a limited production in a boutique wine industry.
