Its history begins in the 90s, when a French friend, whose family had been producing Armagnac for many years in France, was visiting the region where today the winery is located. While feeling the earth and analyzing the climate and altitude, he recommended the area as "one of the great places in the world to grow grapes to produce quality wines”.

A year later its founder, Mauricio Carlos Grando, met oenologist Jean Pierre Rosier, a graduate in oenology at the University of Bordeuax in France, in a tasting event and he commented on his friend’s analysis. Right that moment Jean Pierre confirmed those ideas and said that he had been waiting for years for someone who was willing to risk growing fine vineyards and producing great wines in that region.

Since its beginning the company has invested in the development of its vineyards to be able take steps such as green harvest by removing excess grape bunches for the purpose of decreasing yield and improving the quality of the remaining grapes. This top quality fruit can be compared to the ones produced in traditional wine regions in the world, enabling the production of wines in a natural way achieving 14% alcohol, without chaptalization.

Focused on top-quality products, the winery has been investing, year after year, in its production control and improvement of products. With a 52 hectare vineyard, it totals a production of 300,000 bottles of red and white wines and in the near future it will include rose and brut sparkling wine a brandy, and a late harvest.
