The term “mena-KAHO” expresses the idea of a wine-grower (mena = conductor, cáo = branch of a vine tree). This was the Santo Francesco Roman family nickname They were dedicated to the cultivation of grape vines in Mason Viventino – Morostica (Italy), when, in the year 1883, emigrated to Brazil. Felix Roman and Catharina Gobbi Roman estabilished at Linha Eulália in Bento Gonçalves – Rio Grande do Sul.
At present, a very modern production line and state-of-art equipment imported from Italy put the MENA KAHO winery among the best equipped of the industry.
The winery has its own vineyards with organic production and has partnerships with suppliers that cultivate the grape vines with environmental care and focus on health and palate of customers.
